Lotus Charity Event Aug 8th!

Every year Lotus is committed to choosing a charity to help support. Usually one that is near and dear to a Lotus member. In the past we have organized several fundraising events for various causes such as a ride for autism for ACT lead by John Carinha, the Ride&Drive gala for cancer, and last year we raised 7K for the Salvation Army lead by Dave Markham. 

This year Lotus is supporting Natures Trust of BC a non for profit organization that works hard to conserve BC land and wildlife species AND combat climate change! With the increasing risk of BC Wildfires more citizens need to become engaged. As a cycling club we have been impacted by the poor air quality which resulted in reduced riding. 

 We are BLESSED to be born in beautiful BC and I am very excited to be helping to support the good work of this organization! It’s a perfect fit for Lotus.
