Lotus saves lives! Blood donation challenge.

As you all know, Lotus is taking on a new challenge. 50 blood donations by December 31, 2024. 50 donations will help save 150 lives.

I think we can easily get to 50. It doesn’t cost us anything except about an hour of our time.

And you can give more than once. You can give blood every 56 days!

Also, get your family and friends involved. Anyone can join our team.

You can give blood at any blood donation centre, and you can easily book online at your most convenient location.

Maybe get a group together – 2, 3, 5, however many can go together. And just find times in the online booking portal that you can all go.

So, how do you do it?

If you don’t have a Canadian Blood Services account, just go online at home | MyAccount (blood.ca) and create an account.

Once you have created your account (or if you already have an account), on your computer or mobile devices,  look for the ‘Partners’ button.

On your computer, it is in the list on the left hand side. On your mobile device, there should be a button on the bottom.

Click on ‘Partners’, and it should give a prompt to join a team – choose “Lotus Cycling Club”.

And you’re all set. You just choose ‘Book an Appointment’, and find your preferred time and location.

I will also be working with our Partners contact at Canadian Blood Services to block off some time for Lotus where some can go as a group, if it works for you.
